Men's Guest Services

An emergency shelter for men experiencing homelessness. There is a Transitional Savings Program, where guests can remain at the Mission for six months to save money while they put their lives back together and form a plan to transition out of homelessness.

Men's New Life Program

A 12-16 month faith-based residential recovery program for men with life-controlling issues who wish to put their issues behind them and start a new life.

Women's and Children's
Guest Services at The Rose

A 30-day emergency shelter for single women and women with children (girls of all ages, boys ages 11 and under). Women with children stay in private bedrooms.


Guests are provided transportation on and off the property to designated locations and may receive vouchers to our Thrift store for clothing as needed. Guests come together to complete chores and participate in house meetings, while volunteers minister to guests through morning devotions and evening Bible studies.

— Outreach Ministries —


Mobile Ministries

Mobile Ministries is focused around Luke 14:23, "And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."


Mobile Ministries includes: Nomadic Shelter, Search and Rescue efforts, and Mobile Shower.

Jail Ministries

The Redwood Gospel Mission has men's and women's jail ministries team that are authorized to go into the county jail and facilitate chapel services, bible studies, and one-on-one biblical support.


The team can also provide preliminary interviews for inmates looking to be released into the New Life Programs.

The Center for Hope, Ukiah

Our day center in Ukiah is open Monday – Friday for guests experiencing homelessness. Services are provided including breakfast, coffee, showers, clothing, encouraging Gospel message, bible study and more.

Thrift Store

Sales from our Thrift Store work to support the ongoing activities of the Missions. Items donated are also used to provide necessities to the individuals in our shelter and recovery programs.


There is also ongoing recycling in an effort to be as socially conscious and eco-friendly as possible.

Redwood Gospel Missions
Catering Co.

The Redwood Gospel Missions catering program allows you to enjoy an exquisite meal for your next event while supporting men and women who have gone through our recovery program and are working towards culinary certification.


We cater for groups from less than 10 to hundreds in size, and we can even do pre-packaged to-go meals.

Redwood Gospel Coffee Co.

Our coffee ministry transforms lives in two ways:  


First, our coffee is roasted through our Coffee Certification Program, where men and women in recovery are taught to roast coffee as an employable skill.  


Secondly, our raw coffee beans come from direct trade relationships with farmers, ensuring they get a fair price.

Mobile Coffee Cart

Our coffee cart provides men and women in our Coffee Certification Program with real world experience in working in the coffee industry.


Along with providing a delicious cup of coffee or specialty drinks, the experience helps prepare them for a new potential career path.
